Dear vanlifers, as I am planning to travel in Europe half of the time, I need a reliable Internet provider. I was planning to have a Mifi unit with an antenna as I heard a lot about it in forums, Vlogs, etc. I recently heard about Connect +, via Runningoffthegrid's vlog. It relies on cloud sim (digital sim, so no need to buy a card for each country). Alan and Sadge use it without a antenna. The company claims it work well with an antenna but do not have the expertise!?
What is your experience with Mifi? What do you use? Any recommendations?

I travel to the EU 3 times a year minimum of one month each trip.
UK network providers now charge a daily rate around £2 for roaming plus your agreed plan costs.
I use Smarty unlimited data plan £16 each month no contract month by month payment cancel anytime no EU roaming charges using the 3 network in the UK with no network reduced data speed.
They have cheaper plans if you don't need unlimited data in the UK.
You can check Smarty reviews online at Trustpilot If you purchase a sim card in the EU that network comes under EU rules that we had before Brexit so no roaming charges when you travel in the EU so you do not need to buy a sim card in each country.
I also use hotels for free internet connection you don't need to be a guest.
I hope this helps.
I ordered one and will see what kind of signal I get in my house (usually really bad) and in a van. Will keep you updated
