Hi everyone, only just joined the forum so sorry if this has been asked before. Now just sold our house we are living in our Motorhome full time and was looking motor insurance to cover this. I was told to try Stirling, as they have insurance policies for people living in their van.
On the site it does indeed say insurance for full time van life starting at £275.
However the quote I was giving was £2400. I have 5 years no claims- never claimed on imsurance have no motoring convictions. The Motorhome has a Tracker with the ability to switch the engine off remotely. So I don't know what is the criteria to get the quote down to anywhere near £275. Anyone have a policy for full time living in a van that doesn't cost a arm and a leg?
As someone new to this, i went with a company called Sterling, yes it was expensive but it came with everything and more, as someone who wants to travel all over Europe it was important to be as upfront as possible.
