Hello all I'm pretty new to this vanlife thing having brought a Chausson flash 9 on a mk7 Transit Chassis last September .
I'd appreciate some advice on why my batteries keep draining if its not started for a week or so , I have noticed the batteries are not wired in line or isit sync . I would assume that it has a split charge system on it of some sort and once started it charges well ?
Ok ill do that thanks for the
It wont really help them keep their charge, there will still be the same amount of batteries that wont be being charged regularly enough.
It sounds like the best solution is to get them fully charged up and get the trickle charger on them whilst the vans not in use.
No there isn't a hook up point at the storage and I can't get close enough to hook up at home .would connecting the batteries inline help ?
Just starting the engine for a while once a week really won't do a lot, the trickle charger would probably be OK as long as the batteries are full to start with and as long as it is getting enough sun. Are you able to leave the mains hookup on over the weekend where its stored?
Hi Anthony
How often are you charging them?
do you have solar or just mains hook-up?
